WebDI's e Automated Validation enables you to filter incoming electronic transactions from your trading partners so that the information you want gets to you the way you want it!
YOUR DATA, YOUR RULES
In accordance with your business rules, your dynamic data is used to create validation tables in WebDI. The validation tables can be updated as often as necessary to ensure the validation data is always current.
Only those transactions with correct data to satisfy your validation tables will reach your accounting system for processing. All other transactions will be stopped in the Automated Validation module and the originating supplier will automatically receive a notification that the transaction has failed. It will also indicate the validation process and the reason for the failure. Thanks to Automated Validation, the responsibility of submitting accurate information is on the supplier of that information and not you.
How Automated Validation Works
Before an inbound transaction is delivered to you from WebDI, specified fields in the transaction are checked against information contained in the validation tables. If a transaction fails, then WebDI automatically sends a detailed explanation to the sending trading partner (and to you, if you specify) so that they can take corrective action. If a transaction passes the Automated Validation criteria, it is sent to your back-office system for processing. Automated Validation ensures that only correct data is sent from WebDI to your accounting system.
